It’s believed that approximately 17.6 million Americans currently lack access to healthy foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables. That means that at least 17.6 million Americans are not getting access to the foods they need to live a healthy, nutritious life. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our team at Hope Church noticed an increased need for fresh produce, which is why we created Mobile Markets, which provide a simple way to bring nutrition to St. Louis. Rather than making it difficult for people to come get food when they’re in need, Hope Church now offers mobile markets that make picking up food simple. However, that’s not the case here at Hope Church! Our mobile markets are open to anyone and everything is free of charge. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our team at Hope Church noticed an increased need for all foods, but especially fresh produce. During the past few months, we’ve been fortunate enough to gain the exposure necessary to create valuable partnerships with organizations throughout our community. These organizations allow us to provide the community with superior food solutions, as well as added convenience for each of our Mobile Market users. Helping People Like Never Before
Hope Church is proud to be able to provide a solution to food insecurity to our community members. We were able to serve over 1,500,000 pounds of food to people in the St. Louis community in 2020 and 2021. We hope to continue to be able to feed even more people as our program gains recognition.
